It takes about 1 month to 3 months from the application to acquisition.

②Foreigner yourself planning to work in Japan brings the Certificate of Eligibility and other required documents together to the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your own country and apply for a visa.If you can not apply by yourself, you will need to apply through an agency.
Required documents are shown in the flowchart, but the following documents are required.

What is “Certificate of Eligibility”?

It certifies if you meet the entry requirements to Japan. If you possess this, visa issuarance would be somehow easier.

The expiration date of the certificate is within 3 months from the date of issue date. Please note that the validity of the certificate will be lost unless you enter Japan within the deadline.
